Self-Defence Classes
In addition to the courses and seminars run by Surge Defence, we also run a regular self-defence class in Marden where you can continue your learning after courses or just come along and learn from scratch! This class is just for women and teenagers 16+ years of age. Unfortunately due to venue hire and insurance, these classes are not free of charge. Are the classes suitable for all ages?
Yes! Our current students range from 19 – 86 years of age. These classes are accessible to all no matter what age you are!
Do you do self-defence gradings?
Yes we do! However these are not mandatory and there is absolutely no pressure to grade! If you are happy just coming long and learning, that’s great! But if you would like to grade and earn belts, you are more than welcome. These are held three times a year on our 12-month programme. This includes certificate, belt and grading registration.
